Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary

Approximately 30 miles east of Naples, this 13,000 acre sanctuary has a 2.5 mile boardwalk to explore the beautiful wildlife of southwest Florida. A nature lovers paradise, the Corksrew sanctuary is home to otters, turtles, alligators and a huge variety of birds including herons, egrets, wood storks and raptors. Be on the look out for a tricolored heron, a ruby-throated hummingbird or a great egret.
